Blue Poem by Ange Mian

Blue

'I care about you, 'he said with a straight face. The naive person I was thought it was a safe place.

His words were lies, his smile a guise.

I was blinded by admiration and surprised eyes.
But now I see with a clearer view.

Trusting him was a mistake, one I'll always rue.

I poured my heart out, telling you the truth.
hoping you'd listen and see my youth.

Little did I know, a devil was near.
Flying around you, whispering in your ears.

With lies and deceit, they poisoned your mind.
You began to doubt the truth I left behind.

Their whispers were sweet but full of despair.
and you believe their lies, without a single care.

I stood before you, with a heart so true.
But the devil's words were all you could do.

You turned away from me and walked into the night.
Leaving me with tears and a heart that's lost its light.

In the past, we clashed; our hearts did ache, but I've moved on for my own sake.

Do not worry; I hold no grudges tight.
It's part of life, and I'll make it right.
Tears will fall; my heart will ache for the lesson I learned.

For our sake.

Time heals wounds, and I've made amends.
No hard feelings, just a journey's end.

Live your life with cheer.
I'll be there in the end, wiping away my tears.
