Blue Road Of The Sky Poem by Harry Robbins

Blue Road Of The Sky

Rating: 5.0

Oh blue road of the sky
Am I to go or is this a lie
Will I find soft lives of love
Will they always stay above

I yearn to find gold pains and joy
Will I be a man and leave this boy
I want the strength to follow my heart
Bless me with an important part

My dreams turn to anger and ire
I tell myself I can stand any fire
But alone I can stand no more
I crave for someone to adore

I fear this trip is for only one
Comfort me with the warmth of the sun
Lead and show all that I must do
For I am lost and almost thru.
