Bones With Flesh And Skin With Sapience Poem by Julian Takali

Bones With Flesh And Skin With Sapience

Toss virtues to wind - watch the powder blow!
Leave your family to rot - leave them alone!
Be steadfast in arms, let the tinnitus roam -
You are the flimsy arrow to life's golden bow!

For the first time in my life, I truly felt dead
For once in a long while, spoke I not a breath
Looking into the future but not seeing ahead
Dreaming a life of fortune but soaked by one of death

Toss virtues to wind - watch the powder blow!
Leave your family to rot - leave them alone!
Be steadfast in arms, let the tinnitus roam -
You are the flimsy arrow to life's golden bow!

Say a prayer or two to the God you adore
Singe the key to your cell - the lock to your door
Sink through the well - onto a petal so tender
Made of a black so vile
Around is not hell - yet something much more worthwhile

Toss virtues to wind - watch the powder blow!
Leave your family to rot - leave them alone!
Be steadfast in arms, let the tinnitus roam -
You are the flimsy arrow to life's golden bow!
