Sunshine Girls Poem by Julian Takali

Sunshine Girls

Sunshine Girls

These sunshine girls on the sun kissed beaches of Hawaii
Lathered by the brine of the icey sea
Stretched near the pinky crystal rocks
Right next to the lofty palm trees

These sunshine girls with their ambrosial grins
Winking and playing in the cool breeze
Tawny skin and amber hair touched by the gentle wind
Each of their auburn eyes evading me

These sunshine girls belong with me in my Amazon cabin
Where the air is serene
Where the clouds are in love with each other
Where the wildlife roams free
Where the leaves shake effortlessly
Where the lakes are boundless
And where they would be hidden from disease
But to these sunshine beauties, my presence is ghostly
