Poem One.
1 There are many fields here
2 All of wood
3 Cedars of the south
4 And knowing
5 The stones of past forgetting
6 The southern streams
7 Flow vibrant here and sing songs coursing.
Poem Two.
1 A dogwood here and there
2 Blossoms flowers jewels
3 Fragrances upon the song winds of the South
4 Candle late in burning
5 Palm trees and dark, at last
6 Written worded done
7 Mastered streams, Lorded woods.
Poem Three.
1 Voices spoken over water
2 Absorbed in the veneer
3 Commandments given to stone
4 The heart should have heard
5 First it was the finger wrote it there
6 Shattered
7 Then done again with grimy hand.
Poem Four.
1 Not all is told; streams hold so much water
2 Not all is written
3 Papyrus is not infinite.
4 The still water
5 Befriended him
6 His soul
7 Found measure there pressed down and shaken.
Poem Five.
1 Music should not be forgotten
2 Harps hang
3 As close as songs need to be
4 Sadness would come
5 Streams would weep
6 And trees would like wood break like bread
7 But first the bush would make itself known in fire and thorns.
Poem Six.
1 Love must be crowned before the dawning
2 Light must be seen from His House at night.
3 Hold the moment
4 There is some truth
5 Gently, gently
6 Hold hands to the light
7 Light stains the wood most red.
Poem Seven.
1 Heart bows in the field
2 Coming to the wood face down
3 A cup was given to truth
4 It could not pass the lips of love
5 Tasting, tasting
6 From what tree
7 Or merely a humble vine?
