Borrowed Grace Poem by ashok jadhav

Borrowed Grace

Borrowed grace arrives with careful hands,
A light reflected, never fully ours;
It steadies us when strength no longer stands,
Yet fades if trusted more than inner powers.
We lean on mercy offered from outside,
On words that soothe but cannot always stay;
Such grace can lift us through a wounded tide,
But leaves when borrowed faith must find its way.
For lasting grace is grown, not lent or shown,
It rises from endurance, loss, and care;
What heals us most is claimed, not merely loaned,
A strength discovered where we dared to bear.
Thus borrowed grace, though kind, must one day cease,
So we may learn our own, enduring peace.
