Bottled Poem by Daniel Trevelyn Joseph

Bottled

I told her you are arguing
On all sides.
If you are against yes and no,
And all the three intermediate positions,
I can only ring up and cancel
Tomorrow’s appointment.
She doesn’t want that also.

Now what am I to do?
See her face contorted
In part anger, and part frustration,
And bottle up my own.

Interesting piece of work, and about figuring out a woman...
