Bow Our Heads Poem by Kimberly McCreary

Bow Our Heads

As the doors open to start this day,
We bow our heads to you and pray.

We know we need to study and learn from you,
The more we learn, the more we will know what to do.

Just as we get down, and about to give up,
You jump start our hearts, and minds, and over fill our cup.

Many trials and tribulations in the world these days,
Thank you for covering us like a doughtnut of glaze.

With You, the sunshiny days out number the rain,
You walking with us, keeps us from going insane.

We are young in wisdom, just new at turning to you,
So we stumble in many things we do.

Just as we get down, and about to give up,
You jump start our hearts, and minds, and over fill our cup.

We really don't know how we made it through all the years before we let you in,
Life was so misunderstood, as we lived in sin.

Thank you for your love, and patience when we get down and out,
We are so grateful we woke up and you we sought.

As we head out to face this day, we turn to you and pray,
Thank you for your many blessings you send our way, and please lead our steps in all we do this day! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
