Brazil Is Causing Peru's Drought Poem by Saiom Shriver

Brazil Is Causing Peru's Drought

deforesting drought
Billions of butchered trees
replaced by cattle ranches
lumber mills and feedlots
are turning copious rainfall
into nought

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Footlot: Drought in other countries such as Peru is created by Brazilian cattle ranchers, lumbermen, and the government.

Brazil is now owner of the world's
biggest mammal cadaver company. American fast food companies and
other purchasers of Brazilian butchered meat are also responsible.
