Breathe, Leave Poem by Spencer Zimmerman

Breathe, Leave

Rating: 5.0

Experience accompanies my side
As we trot through stages of life
And when fearful failures press
I draw from within a deep breath

Breathe, Breathe.
Leave, Leave.

I sit and wonder why we pause
As if waiting for some closure
Back and forth you lovely pendulum
The essence of this seeping through

And I continue to sit
As time refuses to wait
Begotten sun, benevolent son
Passively hesitant with you

At Last eyes upon the gravestone
The essence of this seeping through
Beautiful is the face of my sorrow
As we trot through stages in life

Breathe…Leave.
Breathe…Leave.
