Its a well known fact that some people in long-term relationships
require...a little breathing space...

Once our children had grown up and dispersed
neither one of us panicked in our loneliness

Instead, we went through the empty rooms of our house
and choose individual spaces
in which to be content in

Its great,
to have a space
where one is free to
do as one pleases
Plus, free to overlook
everyone elses short-comings
.Including, ones own!
