Breathtaking Poem by Phil Yates

Breathtaking

I took every day it was something new
I looked with eyes wide open at the beauty of the view
I can still feel the chill of the mountain the warmth
The welcomes and the stunning hue
The roads rough traveled steps taken on places old and new
I can not forget the people I met and friends that I knew
From all corners they came to admire the same as travellers do
My journey now over and home I am due
My mind now rested my time anew

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
