Brewing Storm Poem by Omar Sunny

Brewing Storm

A storm hath reeked outside
So I tried to run, I tried to hide
Tried to transcend it with my pride
Got struck with lightening-
Fell and died
A storm hath come once again
And with it brought familiar rains
But rather than deal with similar pains
I sat and thought
And weathered it fain
A storm hath brewed inside of me
So I used my knowledge as a key
Refused to be knocked down-
Like a tree
Then soaked in sun, with jubilee
