Bride And Lover Poem by Nithin Jacob

Bride And Lover

She is so beautiful; I’m in love with her
Remember the day I took her for a candle light dinner
Date which we had remained a bit in my diary
We used to hold hands and walk through steam
She is getting wedded and she is going to be a bride
She still loves me but she thinks it’s insane
Love you not for what you are but for how u been to me
Your kiss on my lips made me go crazy
I still feel the fragrance of your hair
And now you are a bride
Who is all set to step into a different level!
You are quitting from my heart
And you have pain and the one which you carried so forth
I loved you, love is pain?
It bleeds when you scratch my heart, sweeps through my mind
You are my lover, and you can’t be an actor
You can love me and not to live for his sake
When I write this letter to you, you must have already departed
Because, the love you had was more than I felt
And the last time when we met, u said so
And today being your wedding day,
You must have had the zip of that toxin
And when fate couldn’t bring us together
I join you, and I am writing this page
To let the world know that,
Nobody can depart us each other.
My eyes are fading, I can see the snap
Which we took in sepia…
And I see that our life has come to an end
I can write no more…
And I say love never die.
