Gracefully, gazelles frolic
Upon the rolling green lawn
As the virgin's wedding gown
Tumbles down around
The crimson shoulders of dawn
Blue morning is adorned with her necklace
Of seashells and keening seagulls
Who caw and screech above nattering Time
Patiently knitting her shawl on the beach;
Cleaving the waves, sails unfurling
is the hull of Love's stately yawl leaving
The slender hands of Eternity wait for
The child the tender flowers named Serendipity
Around the hours the sea-swept moon
And her sisters the whirling stars
Have laughed and wept with the Bridegroom
How, I'll never know but the currents
Of your heart surrender to felicity:
Together, we'll cross the bridge
Just over the sandy ridge
To our dreams.
