Bright Eyes Poem by Robyn Carraway

Bright Eyes

They are deep and wide and hide nothing
They have cried and tried, to see differently
Mine for everyone to see but not to see into
Often hidden away, with sad deepened hues
So know that if they brighten and crinkle when they see you
If the colors change, you are one one the few
Who have influenced my thoughts and therefore my view
In the way, only those with bright eyes can do.
