Broken Poem by deepika agrawal

I have become so immune to pain,
Showers of thorn feel like rain..
Tears are stranger, smile is my opponent,
Faith has failed me and now i am indifferent.

Should i be hurt or should i cry?
Even the reason is lost, i dont know why?
A moment ago there was a fear,
to lose someone so dear,
But separation was destined and now the distance is so clear.

Hope was once by my side to console me,
It even left a deep hole within me..
I m broken with pieces intact,
Trying to hold myself to act.

I have withdrawn myself from the world,
Squeezed into a corner darker than emptiness,
Now there is nothing, nothing and nothing....
