Broken Poem by Karl Iviacz Sims

Broken

My talents lay bare and dead
Upon this road that I have tread
Regardless of my soul and mind
Seeking you through out all time

Away my body soars
Needing you for ever more
Laughing aloud against the pain
Cleansing my soul in the gentle rain

How far away must I go?
In the knowledge of you that I know
For in passing everything shall grow
But the answer for me is still no

How long must I suffer this fate?
Using love to combat the hate
How long must I endure this bane?
In a world that hate your name

For if time was to end on this very day
And the Earth and the Heavens shall pass away
And Light and the Darkness became the same
The Truth of your Love would still remain.
