I hear my heart beat loud and clear
It's so uneven without you here
I tried and I tried to make things right
I regret everything I said that night
But now not even the dead can rest,
And their grip is tight upon my chest
I wish you would sacrifice just one more night
But my world is crumbling out of sight,
And into a bitter abyss
All I long for is just one more kiss
I want you to know that you will always be my princess
I wish you would come back
And take me in your arms today
But I fear I have gone too far
And will forever be a man with a broken heart
