Broken Poem by Meghan Dotson

Broken

Struggling to walk, to talk, to breathe
Silent tears and desperation
Carrying on like all is well
While inside my heart is breaking
You were my rock and my strong tower
Now I don't know how to stand
In a world where so much is broken
A little girl needs her Momma's hand
No one has the answers
None of this makes sense
I don't know how to go on living
When your life is past tense
I want to make it better
I want to take away your pain
I want you here beside me
I want my Mommy once again!
