Broken Poem by Amanda Lee Lewis

Broken

Breaking me was the easiest thing you could have ever done...
You were the easiest bad habit,
You were my favorite mistake,
and I could have sworn you were an angel,
but then I saw that you were a devil just prowling for your next victim....
but by then it was too late.
I hope that now you see that you pushed me to my breaking point,
and now you see me here with your name carved into my wrists...
now everyone will know that you were the one who left me alone...
you left me here to die...
And now I hope you see that you were the one to blame,
I was so happy with you, I would have climbed Everest for you,
but instead you were the one that left me broken in 2!
