Broken, Alone, And Decieved - Poem by Lisa Kramer
I love how it feels wrapped in your jacket,
Love how it feels wearing my heart on your sleeve,
Too bad you don't feel the same,
I let you break my heart and just leave.
You say I'm just your friend,
But I want to be more,
I can feel my heart breaking,
It's bleeding and sore.
But the pain never stops,
Cause I can't get over you,
Do you not feel the same,
Not as I do.
When I gave you my heart,
I told you not to break it,
But you didn't listen, now did you,
No you stuck a knife in it.
You came into my life and took all the light,
Now I'm blinded, it's dark,
And I'm left sleepless,
thinking about you all night.
