Broken Bridge Poem by Adelaide

Broken Bridge

Rating: 5.0

The bridge was falling apart between our lives.
So many things have happened; to many to count.
One lie lead to another, which broke the bridge between us,
If I wanted to come back to you I would have to jump in the water.
I might swim I might drown, I may live I may die.
I may forgive you or you may only live in my memory
But it’s your fault either way, because you left it burning behind you.
