Broken Eyes

My broken eyes, the years and the tears,
The anger, the fears, the wrinkles and the deep regret.
The patience lost, the happiness tossed,
The trampled moments and the unfulfilled promise.
The memories forgotten, the memories remaining,
The dreams destroyed and the dreams arising.
Off into a new life with these broken eyes...
