Broken Infinity Poem by Sittie Rayhanna Tabara

Broken Infinity

It was that late midnight,
When I got to see your sight.
For months that we're apart,
I thought, we'll be having a new start.

A face that's bright was what I thought I'd see,
But then, I held a hand as cold as the sea.
Your warm smile turned into a freezing stare.
Your tender love is now dead, that, I can't bear.

Questions kept pouring on my mind,
Is it you, or just me on this broken line,
So I rendered a prayer for our clarity,
And fate answered my little insanity.

I bleed, I cried, and Yes! I almost died.
But still, I need to stand and survive.
Our destiny has come to a sad ending,
For I need to let you go, and cut the strings of our broken infinity.: (
