Broken Love Poem by Alicia Gordon

Broken Love

Rating: 5.0

Dimmer than ever does life now feel.
Emotions so tender, so soft and surreal.
Fevers of winter sprout in the spring.
My heart needs a song while there's nothing to sing.

Lost in a daze, a garden misted with sarrow.
Lost in my thought beyond all of marrows.
Tremors of reality crushing my dreams
All feeling lost in my heart's flooding steams.

Curses of memories deep in my mind
No time to relax, sprout new, and unwind.
Cool days and warm night when we tempted fate.
Got lost in the longing, could no longer wait.

Taking the risks that demolished our souls.
Our newly found love, turned new useless coal.
