Broken Mirror From My Wall Poem by Christine Franco

Broken Mirror From My Wall

The room is blue, so cold just without you.
You completed me, and now you left me.
What shall I do alone in this world?
You mean everything to me, for every kiss you placed upon my lips, shall you know, I cherished.
There is no escaping this horrible pain in my heart.
It breaks.
Without you everything I known is now broken.
Everything I touch shatters.
The mirror is broken, cause today I asked the mirror...
'Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who is loved among them all?
Shall my lover seek my arms, or will he find another? '
Of course there is no answer, but in the back of my head it calls....
'True love has gone away, true love will not seek
But if the means by any love
It will not come to be.'
I stood upon my vanity mirror
Took a hammer, slammed right through it.
I wish just for that moment, you would come back to me, that you would just love me.
I dropped within that minute on my knees
Letting the glass cut through
I began to scream.
It was terror
I was mortified by the two pains that has been caused.
If I was woman enough, I'd pick up from were I left off.
