We swore love could conqure all,
Get us through all the tough times,
But love wasn't enough for you,
Searching for more,
You spoke words,
With sincerity,
You swore you loved me,
That we would always be,
But all those words,
Were broken promises,
And shattered words,
Dreams I had; promises made,
A life with you,
A house, kids,
All false and never to be,
Everything was all just a dream,
It all was nothing but,
Broken promises and shattered words.
