Broken Wings
Please do not read me wrong
because I have broken my wings
I cannot fly to the heights
I once did
As I hover and glide
through my life
I can still teach you to fly
And when you drift
with the wind
and the clouds
in the sky
Give my regards to them
The wind shall
pick me up
on it's wings
and the clouds shoulder
the rest of my flight
please do not read me wrong
because I have broken my wings.
