We begin our day
With our daily prayers
For the rest of the day
We just don't care

When at night
It's time for bed
We pray once more
Making amends
For the things we did
We shouldn't have done

Our prayers are heard
We are forgiven
Tomorrow is another day
We shall be praying
In the morning
And evening as well
Doing the same things
We have done today

The Lord God always gives us
A second chance
To make a new beginning
And leaves us with
The choices we are making
