Brought Together Poem by Matthew Foor

Brought Together

Bruised and used
Battered and tattered
How they've lived their lives
Had never really mattered

Until now….

Brought together
Strangers confront their demons
Digging down deep
Expressing their feelins

Pain and grief lie on weakened shoulders
Intense and immovable like the largest
Of boulders

Some transgressions out way
Those of others
Some obsessions inherited
By fathers and mothers
