Brushstrokes -Sometime 2006 - Poem by Stacey Knippenberg Ricci

Feelings flow like brushstrokes
On a canvas vast as sky

Painting moments of a lifetime
Gently passing by

Shades and hues of every depth
As a masterpiece unfolds

Blended bits of yesterday
And what the future holds

Washes drift across this work
In brilliant bright display

Filling my heart and my mind
To paint another day
