Bubbly Waves Poem by Kavitha Krishnamurthy

Bubbly Waves

Standing in the seashore, looking at the sea
The sign of the bubbly waves triggered something inside me
Those electrifying waves approached towards my side
Swiftly, promptly came those lively tides
Bringing salt and shells from the other terrain
Playing a messenger between the two lands

On a scavenger hunt, looking for some precious treasures
Delivering them to both the worlds and making it vivid and rich
To break free of the rules they came with a rapid stride
Quickly changing mind they withdrew aside
Spreading their motto in each and every heart

'Don't ever give up....Try and try harder...'

Puzzled as to wherein they really belong
Moving back and forth between the two vast grounds
Though confused within, looking for an answer
They brought an ineffable peace, an overwhelming joy
Then everything went still, my heart and spirit became serene
Leaving me alone with my infinite memories
