My Buddha sits in quiet light,
A gentle stillness through the night.
With eyes that hold the morning sun,
He whispers, Peace has just begun.
No hurried words, no need to prove,
Just calm enough to make me move.
When life grows loud and shadows stay,
His silence softly clears the way.
He teaches me to breathe, to be,
To loosen what I cannot free.
To let each moment rise and fall,
And find a little peace in all.
My Buddha does not ask for more—
He simply waits beside the door,
A quiet heart, a steady flame,
Reminding me to stay the same.
And when I bow, I seem to find
A little more peace within my mind—
For what I seek beyond my view
May already live in what is true.
