Budding Branch Poem by Sandy Fulton

Budding Branch

Rating: 5.0

I was an old, tired tree:
married late,
childless a while,
always occupied, every moment busy.

Suddenly this old, tired branch
budded a flower
and my life began again
in vivid ecstasy!
