Building Poem by Augustus Carter
Building
A brick to start it all
a wall to shroud it
a few more to surround it
a castle to protect it
a maze to hide it
and some dirt to cover it up.
If you manage to get through the maze
and into the castle
if you manage to tear down the walls
and dig it up
Please stand there and protect it
for it is my heart.
