Bulging Little Bellies Poem by Quame Boatmann

Bulging Little Bellies

Bulging bellies
In little kiddies
A Fancy fashion
In cabo corso

willy nilly mommies
Willy nilly sillies
Their maiming melodies
With wounding words
Sang for babies
As daily lullaby

Profanity!
A pill for their souls
Day by day, Night by night
In the end, they boast
Of little toddlers
With bulging bellies
