Burial Poem by Tentative Poet

Burial

like fallen petals
strewn over weeping loam
scattered ashes

adrift on tumultuous seas
my heart-light shines
haphazard upon the past

no more tears shall grace
this solemn burial
no wreaths, no eulogy

only the laid-to-rest
final severance forever
