Look me in the eye,
when you reveal the truth,
rather claim to,
be the messenger,
be the guide,
the one who leads the way,
fortunately,
or unfortunately,
the beacon of light for the masses,
so, keep the flame burning,
with honesty and integrity,
yet you spread darkness in your wake,
despair and pain,
with all your lies and deceit,
the masses are hopeless in their acts,
looking to quench their thirst for some answers,
yet they leave disappointed,
but some, naive as they are,
succumb to your clever lies,
a moment of peace,
a moment of completion,
gives way to an agony,
of yet another generation.
