Burnt Pizza In The Rain Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Burnt Pizza In The Rain

Burnt pizza in the rain
Lies and unfinished truths
You said you loved me but just with words
But I could not ignore how you spoke with actions
Ain't it funny how words can't replace reality
And when they do, it's only because it's what we really want to believe
We'll believe a dream until it really doesn't come true
And then it's like eating burnt pizza in the rain
