Busy Poem by Mogare Nyamoko

Busy

Rating: 5.0

Almost caught up with time today,
Like a Cheetah I speeded my car to work.
But the potholes like traps
Trying to hunt my car
Filled our newly constructed road.
Trying to elude the potholes,
Wrong lane I drove.
Then on my lane again.

I was missing a special appointment
With a investor Soo rich
The cars formed a line
I guess all drivers angry
Late for work.

Quickly I passed past
The accident costing us loss of time,
Cars can be pieces of paper, firmly I holded the steering well.

Seventeen missed call from my secretary,
I must have been too worried of my own family.

To office I ran,
The secretary moodless.
Sir the investor died on a road accident.
Didn't you see that while coming?

The secretary to the zip,
Tears to the sausage.
A loss of a husband,
She hummed something like that.
