waking up to this destruction
with defenses sound asleep
I doubt your dreams for me
that got me into this breakdown

all we thought that there was
never got anywhere but fear
did I lose you some place
or were you ever here?

I search for a solution
you broke me beyond repair
all your questions drove me mad
I’ve ran out of medication

look me in the eye
don’t try to shake free:
I tried to be what would last
but did you ever want that?
