But I’m Out There (2) Poem by Michael P. Johnson

But I’m Out There (2)

Dig deep the land yet cold and dry
Break up unfallowed ground
Pray Liquid Light would fall from high
That Jesus may be found

There’s not much good just sitting there
While children die still lost
Christ died for you, for those elsewhere
For all, was paid the cost

Allow my Son be now your guide
Arise in Christ anew
Arise my child and go outside
You’ll find I’m out there too

Spread wide the truth that set you free
Spread deep Life’s Seed with grace
So others too may worship me
May live and see my face

When all on earth is done my child
When time has had her fill
With all my children reconciled
I’ll exercise my will

I’ll call to those I’ve proved and tried
When every battle’s won
I’ll call to me the chosen bride
To give my precious Son

For through my word, when washed and clean
She’ll have the right to life
The right to reign the promised queen
My Son’s eternal wife

So pay good heed to all I’ve said
Arise within your pews
With He who lives, who once was dead
Go tell the world the news”…
