But In The Awaking Night Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

But In The Awaking Night

The darkness of the day
The violent rage in blackest gray
The screaming and running
The stabbing and plundering
All beyond the police camera rays
And what the silence won't say

The sun is shining but you can't see
The dark corner, the reality
That is happening beyond God's reach
The lies, the distortion that the enemy does teach
The anger, the criminal greed
All just to feed a drug habit need

But in the awaking night
The killer finds the light
Walks away from a deadly poison trap
Finds forgiveness at last
Dances the dance of eternal life
They counted nine but the boxer got back up and won the fight

Yes, it's not over until it's really over
Some people think not everything can be cured
But if you haven't been to heaven how do you know
That God can't make flowers in the dessert grow
Yes, every prayer that is prayed has been heard
And in heaven there are no tears

Bottom line: If God don't make you better he'll take you to where you will be better
