But Most Of All... - Poem by Gabriell Davis

I hate that you changed.
I hate that you’re the same.
I hate that you left.
I hate how you’ve stayed.
I hate how I cry.
I hate how you make me smile.
I hate how I miss you.
I hate how I feel.
I hate how it hurts.
I hate that it’s my fault.
I hate that it’s yours.
I hate that I can’t be around you.
I hate how I’ve lost you.
I hate how I’ve found out who you really are.
I hate that I can’t tell you any of this.
But most of all,
I hate how I can’t hate you,
Not even a little.
I hate how I still love you.

I really like this poem, it is true for most of us. I have tried to put how I felt
and your poem has marked exactly what I would write. This poem is great.

This is real good. Right now I'm hating someone real bad for mostly the same reasons and now that I read it it helped me so much. Great poem. (Report) Reply

This is an absolutely beautiful poem. Very deep, very emotional. It speaks to me because I can relate to it directly, given all of the relationship roller coasters I have road like a martyr. I imagine you have been through the same. I wanted you to know this poem helped me. Continue expressing yourself. (Report) Reply
