But Yet Poem by kwane Lamb

But Yet

If you could look into my eyes…
You would see my heart jump with glee…
Because of the way you look at me…
How (my heart) works extra hard…
At pumping blood into my veins…
(But yet) …
Whenever I think of you, my heart…
Re-acts…in a more positive way…
As it is trying to please you…
And you are not around…
(But yet) …we are connected…
So just imagine…the will…
It would give me…
When I see you…
Queen before me…
The Nile at your back…
And the sky in it's marvelous blue…
(But yet) I fade in and out…
There is a queen, true womanhood…
In my sight…What a blessed man am I…
So to love you gentle…
Would be an understatement at best…
Loving you gentle… has no human words…
With the pleasure…I could give or receive…
From such a queen…as yourself…
You are perfect…(But yet) …
Your only flaw is…loving me…(I) …
The womb of your beginning…
