I am but a butterfly
See me spread my wings and fly
Fields and Gardens are my kingdom
Watch me savouring my freedom
Beautiful butterfly I am bewitched
my eyes from you I cant switch
Which fragrance is today your flavour?
A rose a poppy will you savour
I see you swirling in the air
Graceful dancing free of care
Divine palate a blaze of color
My butterfly my flying flower
My desire for a treat
Can we play hide and seek
Come on my shoulder alight
I will not give you a fright
A wish I will whisper to you
I promise not to hold on to you
Take my wish up to the skies
In your silent flight to realize
Now do you want to know my wish?
you don't have so much to fish
I am not asking for the skies
Just want to be a butterfly
