By A Man Trusted Wholeheartedly?

Handprints left on my body,
By a man, I trusted wholeheartedly,
How can this be?
Would anyone trust and believe me?
Looking at my body disgusted by what I see,
I wonder how this can be.
By a man, I trusted wholeheartedly really?
But having no one to trust I felt so lonely.
Trying so hard to forget what really happened,
I asked myself what was his situation.
To my mother, I make known this revelation,
Was her lover really another?
Someone she didn't know him to be,
And only saw what she could see.
By a man, she trusted wholeheartedly really?
And not just a man her husband whom she loved so dearly.
