By Pass Poem by Nilufer Dursun

By Pass

I wanted to meet face to face
By myself for the last time.
My past and future
To put on the table seemed me
The best way…
I lanced my heart firstly
I have thrown out all inside.
Neither pain remained nor arithme.
My by pass operation completed succesfully.
Naturally convalence will take time
I don’t think it needs drug left over;
Striking a new match is enough…
