I assume the setting of the poem, at the foothills (?) of the blessed mountains is a safe place, a sanctuary, and people are free to read poetry and perhaps internalize its message. It seems the experience of reading would be enhanced by the blessed setting. But the setting also creates deep emotions, and brings up from the inner depths a sadness released by tears. At the end of the poem I thought I had entered a region of grief that could not be assuaged. If only the Poet-Seer, initiated by Minerva into wisdom, could appear at this site!
